Small, fast, and simple app that takes up very little space.

There are no in-app purchases, it is completely free. You do not need to create any account or register. Just choose a channel and turn up the volume!

News app with an RSS reader: Stay informed with the latest updates from Norwegian online newspapers. The app fetches the latest articles as soon as they are published online by the newspapers.

Send the sound to external speakers with Bluetooth or just use the headphone jack.

Local radio online: Now you can listen to your local radio no matter where you are, regardless of geographic distance. Choose from a long list of local radios from all over Norway.

The live broadcast can be paused and resumed from where it was paused, or you can skip back to the live broadcast in real-time.

The app is a simple web browser. When you listen to radio or podcasts, you essentially visit the radio station's official web address (and get counted and registered as a listener) in the same way as when using a regular web browser on your computer or an internet radio, and with the same sound quality.

Note: This app is deliberately designed without advanced features to be as compact and efficient as possible (approximately 3MB!). I hope this is taken into consideration when commenting. Thank you very much.

Permissions: These 3 permissions are usually set automatically. If not, you can enable them in your Android settings (settings > apps > Norwegian Radio App > Permissions). 1: Prevent phone from sleeping (so that music does not stop when the screen saver activates) 2: Internet access (for radio/news) 3: Storage (to remember favorite channels).

This app is a product of a personal interest in radio technology and has no commercial affiliation. All radio advertisements come from the selected radio channel or podcast you are listening to.
